Mark D. Coe, President, of Coe Capital Management, LLC, created the firm in 1999. As a founding member he is responsible for the oversight of all aspects of research, portfolio management, and client communications. Mr. Coe obtained a Bachelor of Science Degree in Accountancy from the University of Illinois in 1984. Mr. Coe was awarded Bronze Tablet and University Honors, the highest recognition for academic excellence awarded by the University. Mr. Coe became a Certified Public Accountant and worked for two years as a Senior Audit and Tax Accountant with Deloitte, Haskins, and Sells before pursuing an advanced degree. Mr. Coe obtained his Master of Management in Finance and Economics at the J.L. Kellogg Graduate School of Business at Northwestern University in 1987. After business school, Mr. Coe worked for seven years as a Research Analyst and Portfolio Manager at Gofen and Glossberg, Inc., an investment advisory firm in Chicago, Illinois. In 1994, Mr. Coe left Gofen, and Glossberg, Inc. to form Kent Associates at PaineWebber. As Senior Vice President-Investments and Senior Portfolio Manager, Mr. Coe provided comprehensive investment advisory and research services to individual and institutional clientele. Mr. Coe holds Certified Public Accountant, Chartered Financial Analyst, and Chartered Investment Counselor designations. Mr. Coe is an Investment Executive and is Series 7, Series 24, Series 63 and Series 65 licensed with Ladenburg Thalmann & Co. Inc. Member NYSE/NASD/SIPC.

Karen J. Scott, Senior Portfolio Manager, joined the Coe Capital team in February of 2000. Ms. Scott is responsible for client relationships and management of client investment portfolios. Ms. Scott received her Bachelor of Arts in Design from Indiana University in 1979. She spent the first several years of her career working for Thomson McKinnon in Chicago followed by Taylor Gilman and Nichols in New York, assisting institutional clients in financial futures on the Board of Trade, the Mercantile Exchange, and the New York Futures Exchange. Ms. Scott obtained a Masters in Business Administration with a concentration in Investments and Portfolio Management from DePaul University in 1987. The University acknowledged Ms. Scott's academic excellence by inducting her into Delta Mu Delta, the National Honor Society for Business Administration. For eight years prior to joining Coe Capital Management, LLC, Ms. Scott worked in Private Banking and Trust at the First National Bank of Chicago (currently known as Bank One) serving as a portfolio manager for high net worth individuals. Ms. Scott holds the Registered Financial Consultant (RFC) designation and is Series 6, Series 7, Series 63 and Series 65 licensed with Ladenburg Thalmann & Co. Inc. Member NYSE/NASD/SIPC.

Travis L. Haney, CFA, CAIA, Compliance/Portfolio Manager, joined the Coe Capital team in April of 2007. Mr. Haney is responsible for management of client investment portfolios, compliance, and certain aspects of firm operations. Mr. Haney received his B.B.A in Finance with a minor in Economics from Western Michigan University (2003, Summa Cum Laude). Prior to coming to CCM, Mr. Haney spent almost four years with the U.S. Securities & Exchange Commission (SEC) as a Securities Compliance Examiner. Mr. Haney is a CFA charterholder, a member of the CFA Institute, the CFA Society of Chicago, and the Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst Association. The Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst Association is an independent, not-for-profit global organization committed to education and professionalism in the field of alternative investments. Founded in 2002, the Association is the sponsoring body for the CAIA designation. Recognized globally, the designation certifies one's mastery of the concepts, tools and practices essential for understanding alternative investments and promotes adherence to high standards of professional conduct.

Jason S. Baker, Hedge Fund Operations Manager, joined the Coe Capital team in March of 2004. Mr. Baker is responsible for operations of the Intrinsic Funds, as well as the client and service provider relationships. Mr. Baker received his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst in 2000. The University acknowledged Mr. Baker's academic excellence by inducting him into the Eta Sigma Delta Honor Society. Mr. Baker spent 4 years with the Four Seasons Hotel Company, within their accounting department, and was the Internal Audit Manager of their Boston property prior to joining Coe Capital.

Nathan A. Jacobs, Senior Securities Analyst, and team member since September 2001 is responsible for the firm's proprietary research, employing a broad array of tools to identify and analyze investment opportunities. Mr. Jacobs received his Bachelor of Science in Finance from Illinois State University in 2001. Mr. Jacobs has passed Level 1 of the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) program, and is enrolled in DePaul University's Kellstadt School of Business MBA program. Mr. Jacobs is Series 7 and Series 66 licensed with Ladenburg Thalmann & Co. Inc. Member NYSE/NASD/SIPC.

Joyce P, Client Administrator, and team member since May 2003, is responsible for the coordination of all client administrative activities for the firm. Ms. Paw brings over 20 years of related industry experience to our team in the form of U.S. Treasury and Corporate fixed income trading and administration, as well as employee training and supervision.
